Xanna began life many years ago but we formally set up the company in 2005. We are a small team of design, marketing and technology professionals with many years experience in our various fields. We have worked in the corporate and SME sectors and have had heavy involvement in B2B and B2C projects.
We are big fans of the Open Source movement and like to give something back to the community when projects allow us to.
John has a wealth of experience in business and of the world in general. He started his corporate career with Coca-Cola, merchandising and promoting their product range before becoming a marketing manager in BT's exciting new Internet division. He was reponsible for some of the early e-commerce initiatives in the Telecomms sector and went on to be a key member of the www.bt.com team. Headhunted into Concert, a BT and ATT joint venture, he gained invaluable international experience and developed his love of travel.
John took some inspirational time out to see the world before returning to the UK to become a founding member of Xanna.
Clive studied graphic design at Amersham and Southampton. On graduation he moved to Brighton and set up as a freelancer, working for clients including British Airways, BT and smaller local companies. His work has featured in Creative Review.
By 2000 the 'call of the world' was too great and he travelled extensively around Central America and Australia before coming back to the UK and joining Raleigh International as website manager for 3 years before becoming a founding member of Xanna.
Kirit was born in Norway, but grew up in London. He moved to Thailand on September 11th, 2001 and has been living there ever since (though not through a fear of flying!). He is still a Norwegian citizen. Kirit is a Software Engineer and specialises in object oriented methodologies, design and development; multi-paradigm software development techniques; teaching and mentoring.
